PURCHASING DIVISION
The Purchasing Division
provides a fair and
competitive process for the
acquisition of goods and
services for the Village. It
ensures that all goods and
services are of appropriate
quality and acquired in a
timely and cost effective
manner in compliance with
all legal requirements. This
division processes all
purchase orders. All bids
and RFP's (Request for
Proposals) are issued and
administered through the
Purchasing Division.
Purchases of
less than $10,000 are made in accordance with established procedures for
small dollar purchases and informal quotations. Purchases in excess of
$10,000 are subject to formal bidding procedures.

Bid Information
Bid information is available by monitoring the Daily Herald, the Village’s local
newspaper, for public notices in the legal advertisement section and through
direct contact with Village staff.
Bidders Registration
Vendors may complete a
Vendor Application form in order to receive notice from the Village of
upcoming bids/proposals.

Sales Appointments
Visits by sales
representatives are welcomed. It is recommended that an appointment is
scheduled in order to productively utilize both the Purchasing Coordinators
and salespersons time. Appointments can be made by calling (847) 368-5504.
