ABOUT THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT
Services provided by
the Health Services Department are comprehensive, consisting of
environmental health services, nursing services, human services, services to
persons with disabilities, and services for senior citizens and the teens in
our community.
The Disability Services division of the Health
Department is committed to ensuring that every citizen is afford an equal
opportunity to participate in Village programs, services and communications
regardless of their disability.

Environmental Health is a
division responsible for the Food Service Program, Community Environmental
Health, Recreational Programs, Day Care Programs and Construction and
Licensing.

The Human Services division
of the Health Department is concerned with the general social needs of the
community and its citizens.

NURSING
Nursing Services have been
offered through the Village since the 1930s. Now in the year 2000, there are
2 full-time nurses who are responsible for overseeing various health clinics
and screenings throughout the year.

The Arlington Heights Senior
Center is located at 1801 W. Central Road and is center of fun and activity
for residents age 55 and over.

TEEN
CENTER
The Teen Center provides a
variety of programs, services and events that focus on the social needs and
interests of teens, ages 12-18, in a safe, supervised environment.
