About the Clerk's Office
The Village Clerk is the record keeping officer of the Village of Arlington Heights and custodian of all records and documents. The Village Clerk's Office is under the direction of the Finance Department and is located on the 1st floor of the Village Hall.

Early Voting & Grace Period Registration
Early Voting begins October 24 at Village Hall in the Buechner Room on the first floor.

Grace Period Voter Registration runs concurrently with Early Voting.
To register to vote, you must be:
A U.S. Citizen
At least 18 years old by Election Day
A resident of your precinct at least 30 days prior to Election Day
You may now register to vote online if you have a valid Illinois Driver's License or State ID. Go to https://ova.elections.il.gov/ for online registration.
You must display two pieces of identification for in person registration. Neither needs to be a photo ID, but one must include your current address. In person registration is available at Village Hall and the Arlington Heights Memorial Library.
Acceptable forms of ID include:

Employee or Student ID
Social Security Card
Utility bill in applicant's name
Valid U.S. Passport
Public Aid ID Card
Lease or rental contract

Arlington Heights Municipal Code Online
The Municipal Code is online, providing users a convenient way to view all chapters of the Code and to easily search the Code.
To access the Code, users can click the link below which will take them to a web page that will show links to Municipal Code, Ordinances, and Resolutions. Click on the link "Municipal Code" to view all chapters of the Code. Chapter 28, which contains Zoning regulations, is included in a separate folder which is referenced "Chapter 28."
When review of the online version of the Code is completed, users are reminded to click on the word "Logout" on the upper right hand corner of the web page featuring the Code, Ordinances and Resolutions. Logging out of the page is necessary to ensure other users are able to easily access the information.
