About the Arlington Heights Fire Department
The Arlington Heights Fire Department provides fire suppression, emergency medical, and public education services for the Village. The department also operates a Fire Academy which trains firefighters in basic firefighting and specialized rescue skills. Currently the Department has 103 shift personnel and six staff positions. The department has four fire stations. They are located at 300 E. Sigwalt Street, 1150 N. Arlington Heights Road, 2000 S. Arlington Heights Road and 3030 N. Arlington Heights Road. The department's administrative headquarters is located on the second floor at 1150 N. Arlington Heights Road. The department maintains its own training site and burn building, and currently has six engines, two ladder towers, four specialized squads and six ambulances.
