Business & Economic Development
We invite you to discover Arlington Heights commitment to progress. When it comes to opportunities for success, exciting growth potential and quality of life, there’s no place like Arlington Heights for business. The Village’s strategy is to create a diversified, expanding and dynamic economy through the development of new businesses and the enhancement of existing businesses. The goal of this strategy is to create business organizations that will remain, prosper and expand within the Village. The Village and business works together to create quality jobs, higher wages and a quality of life unsurpassed by others. The primary goal of economic development staff is to retain existing business, recruit new businesses, expand the tax base, increase employment and foster economic growth in the Village.
The Village’s economic development activities focus upon marketing and promotion of the Village to maintain and enhance its economic base. Our staff updates relevant economic and demographic data; coordinates the Business Retention and Attraction Programs; and encourages continued growth and development of the Downtown. The Discover Arlington Marketing program is an integral part of economic development program.
