Housing

The Housing & Community Development Block Grant division of the Department of Planning & Community Development administers, provides, and supports a variety of housing and community development service programs that are aimed to address the housing and community development service needs of the residents of Arlington Heights. Many programs and activities are targeted toward low and moderate-income individuals and households. The goal is to maintain a variety of housing options, including affordable housing opportunities, and to maintain a high quality of life in the community. The Housing division is engaged in planning for the community’s housing and community development needs, applying for and administering federal and state grants, and directly implementing housing programs and initiatives.
