Arlington Heights offers a dynamic experience for shopping!  There are 40 shopping centers in the Village with a total of approximately 4.2 million square feet of space. Retail sales in the Village amounted to over $1.0 billion in 2010. The Village’s retail facilities enjoy high occupancy rates, strong consumer patronage and above average sales productivity. The Village’s primary retail districts include Downtown, Uptown, and Southtown. Downtown Arlington Heights was voted “One of the Most Desirable Downtowns” in a Daily Herald Newspaper survey. The Downtown Area boasts of a diverse mix of restaurants, unique shops, quaint boutiques, theaters, and a performing arts center.
