Hydrangeas - informational presentation at Senior Center

10:30 AM - 11:30 AM

Enjoy a colorful and fact-filled presentation on successfully growing hydrangeas in the Chicago area. Each of 5 species will be covered as to hardiness, light requirements, and moisture needs. The issues of how to prune for flower display and how to manage the blue/pink will be discussed in clear detail. This very popular presentation is "one of a kind" in the Chicago area.

Glenn Grosch is an experienced horticulturist and entertaining lecturer with strong academic credentials. Glenn has been on the Chicago Botanic Garden teaching staff since 1997 and has been offering programs through the Garden Clubs of Illinois since 1999. He has been a certified arborist. His presentations have a high educational content with an emphasis on understanding both "the why and the how," yet remain fast-paced. All visual materials are computer based.
