Bike Arlington Heights
On June 14th, the BPAC held Arlington Heights' first Village-sponsored community bike ride event. The event was attended by over 200 riders from Arlington Heights and neighboring communities. Participants rode either 2 or 10 miles and gathered at downtown Harmony Park for lunch afterward. We provided Village bikeways maps to anyone who wanted one, gave away 27 prizes generously donated by local businesses, and set up a free bike valet parking corral. Pictures from the event can be found here
. Thank you to all who donated, volunteered, and participated!
If you weren't able to attend, please consider joining us at our next event! For more information about future events and what our Commission is currently doing, check back with us here periodically or email Peter Szabo
and ask to be added to our mailing list.
