Board Members

Arlington Heights Village Board members are elected at large on a non-partisan basis, and they serve as the community’s decision-makers.  The Village Board members are composed of eight trustees, and one Village President, who is our  Mayor, Arlene J. Mulder.

Philosophy as an elected official: Listen to local residents and business owners and be their voice in Village government. Promote and maintain economic growth within the community while managing the ‘bottom line’ in spending.

Family: Husband- John who is employed by Siemens and two grown children, Stephanie and Kenneth and one grandchild.  
Other: Past President and Board Member – Wellness Place, Cancer Resource Center. Past Chair and Commissioner of Village of AH Plan Commission (17 years). Past President and Board Member of AH Chamber of Commerce. Former Team Mom for AHYAA baseball and Northwest Chargers Hockey Association.                                                                                    

                 



 

Trustee Norman Breyer

Philosophy as an elected official: As an elected official, I promise to bring the common sense of a C.P.A. and successful businessman to the Village Board. I pledge to hold the line on taxes and bring sensible development that respects the character of the Village. As a representative, I will listen to the residents of Arlington Heights and act in their best interests.

Philosophy as an elected official: As an elected official, I strive for an equitable balance between providing excellent services to our citizens and keeping our taxes low. My concerns for this community are senior citizen services, affordable housing, and promotion of our business community.
