Teen Center Open House Friday, February 26

The Arlington Heights Teen Center is hosting an Open House, Friday, February 26, 2010, from 4 – 8 p.m. at 112 N. Belmont Ave. The Teen Center is located across the street from Recreation Park.
The Open House will allow people to tour the facility and to learn of the programs and activities offered at the Center. The mission of the Arlington Heights Teen Center is to provide a variety of programs, services and events that focus on the social needs and interests of teens in a safe, drug-free adult supervised environment. Health Department representatives will be providing Total Cholesterol with HDL screenings, which does not require fasting. The screenings commemorate National Heart Month while promoting childhood heart health. Also available are free blood pressure readings and weight with BMI body fat analysis. The screenings will be free of charge to those attending the Open House.
