Nominations Open for Disability Employment Awareness Award

June 15, 2017

The Commission for Citizens with Disabilities is seeking nominations for its Annual Disability Employment Awareness Award. Nominations will be accepted through Friday, August 25.

The Commission's award recognizes an Arlington Heights employer, known for proactively hiring and employing workers with disabilities, in recognition of Congress’ designation of October as Disability Employment Awareness Month.

The Commission seeks nominations from the community at large or from Arlington Heights employers who believe they are worthy of such recognition. The award will be presented in October at a Village Board meeting in recognition of Disability Employment Awareness Month.
Nominations will be accepted until August 25, 2017.  Nomination forms are available at the Arlington Heights Health Services Department, located on the first floor of Village Hall, 33 S. Arlington Heights Road, or download the Nomination Form by clicking here.
