Live4Lali's mission is to reduce stigma and prevent substance use disorder among individuals, families, communities, and minimize the overall health, legal and social harms associated with substance use. We envision a world in which we prevent substance use disorder when we can and offer compassionate support to reduce harms among individuals, families, and communities when we cannot. Live4Lali provides direct services to the community through data-driven, four-point model including:

  2. Peer-to-peer support
  3. Harm reduction
  4. Advocacy

Addiction Policy Forum
The Addiction Resource Center line acts as a one-stop-shop for addiction resources, and provides the following services to callers Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm CST:
  • Support for individuals struggling with substance use, people concerned about a loved one's substance use, and family members grieving  from the loss of a loved one to a substance-related death;
  • Peer recovery support advocates provide a compassionate approach for helping callers, information about addiction and recovery, and can  connect  callers to local support programs; and,
  • Licensed clinicians provide screenings and assessments to identify a caller's appropriate level of care, and evidence-based information about treatment and recovery resources.

Village of Arlington Heights Health & Human Services
Arlington Heights is committed to providing services that meet the needs of our community. Through our Social Services Division, we offer connectivity to treatment for substance use disorder and mental health. We aim to remove barriers to engaging in treatment. Residents who meet income-based criteria can apply to our counseling subsidy program for assistance in funding treatment.
