Walk Arlington
The Village's Walk Arlington initiative was started to encourage residents to get out, walk our community, and see how easy it is to reach a destination by walking.  "Walk Arlington, Explore It One Step at a Time" emphasizes health and fitness while promoting ecologically sound transportation. It also helps people recognize the walkability of our neighborhoods, businesses, parks, library and attractions of Arlington Heights.

Lake Arlington is a beautiful place for a walk any time of the year - or bike ride in the warmer months. The 1.8-mile path around the lake is an inviting place to enjoy a peaceful walk or,  take a paddle or sail boat ride by renting the equipment from the Park District's Boat House located at Lake Arlington, just north of Palatine Road on Windsor.
