Project Summary and Updates
The proposed Full Circle Communities (Grace Terrace) Project includes a three-story Permanent Supportive Housing facility (PSH) to include 25-units at 1519 S. Arlington Heights Road. The facility would accommodate individuals with disabilities and will target local veterans with the goal of providing stable housing coupled with supportive services for these residents. A total of 25 parking stalls are part of the proposed project.

Community Neighborhood Meeting Meeting: April 16
full circle open house 4.16.24On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 6:30 p.m.,  the developer of the proposed Grace Terrace project, is hosting a neighborhood meeting to present their revised site plan to the community prior to bringing this plan before the Village Board for their consideration. The meeting will take place in the Hendrickson Room at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, 500 N. Dunton Ave.

The Housing Commission met on September 20, 2023 to discuss the affordability component of the project. The meeting resulted in a recommendation of approval of the affordable component of the development. The plans, staff report, and agenda for this meeting are available here.
Design Commission Meeting: The Design Commission met to discuss this project at their meeting on October 24th. The Design Commission voted to continue discussion of this project at a future meeting, which is tentatively scheduled to occur on November 28th, 2023. Plan Commission Hearing: The Plan Commission held a public hearing to discuss this project on November 8th, which resulted in a failed motion for approval. Accordingly, the project will be transmitted to the Village Board without a recommendation for approval by the Plan Commission.   • This project is tentatively scheduled to appear before the Design Commission for continued review on November 28, 2023. A link to the agenda, plans, and staff report for the November 28th Design Commission meeting can be accessed here, which will be available no later than November 22nd.
  • The Plan Commission held a public hearing on November 8th, which resulted in a failed motion to recommend approval of the project. December 5, 2023: The Village Board met on December 4, 7:30 p.m., at Village Hall, 33. S. Arlington Heights Rd., to discuss and vote on final approvals for the Full Circle Communities project. This project was discussed and final approvals were not determined. The Village Board will discuss this project at an upcoming meeting, with the date yet to be determined. 

 

Project Discussion to be Continued by Village Board after Dec. 4th Meeting
The Village Board met on December 4, 7:30 p.m., at Village Hall, 33. S. Arlington Heights Rd., to discuss and vote on final approvals for the Full Circle Communities project. This project was continued after discussion, for consideration at a later Village Board Meeting, with a date yet to be determined. Updates will be sent to e-mail recipients and posted on this page, when they become available.
