Water Main Replacement Program

The contractor will begin to install water main on Robinhood Lane from Stratford Road to Waterman Avenue. Additionally, water main will be installed on Waterman Avenue from Palatine Road to Sherwood Road. No other areas of the projects will be affected at this time.

Please be aware, short disruptions in water service will occur on an individual house basis during the connection of the existing water service lines to the new water main.  Prior to any service disruptions the contractor or engineer will knock on your door immediately prior to any service disruption.

For the next two weeks, the contractor will be working on Rolling Ln and Avon Ln transferring residential water services over to the new watermain.

Dover Lane.
The contractor will begin installing water main on Dover Lane, beginning at the intersection of Dover Lane and Avon Lane. The replacement will continue north on Dover Lane to Dover Court, and there will be no disruption to water service during the installation.

N Dale Ave.
The contractor will continue to install water main on  N. Dale Ave. Starting Friday, June 23^rd

E Sherwood Rd.
Starting Friday, June 23^rd  on E Sherwood Rd a second crew will begin installing new copper water service lines from the newly installed water main to the buffalo box (shut off) located in the Village right-of-way. Notifications will be placed at each individual house prior to any service disruptions and the contractor or engineer will knock on your door immediately prior to any service disruption.

Princeton Ave.
The week of May 22nd, the Village's water main contractor, Mauro Construction, will be installing water services on South Princeton Ave.  Please be aware, short disruptions in water service will occur on an individual house basis during the connection of the existing water service lines to the new water main.  Notifications will be placed at each individual house prior to any service disruptions and the contractor or engineer will knock on your door immediately prior to any service disruption.

Sherwood Rd.
The contractor began installing water main on Sherwood at Stratford Rd and will be heading east to Dale Ave. There will be no disruption to water service during this time. As work continues, the Village’s contractor will provide updates to impacted residents.
