Water meter billing is completed by the Finance Department staff. Public works staff reads meters electronically and transfers the data to the Finance Department. Water consumption is billed bi-monthly and includes a service charge and other equipment or testing specific to individual residences. The Village receives Lake Michigan Water from the Northwest Water Commission via the City of Evanston. Well water is not used in the Village water system although deep wells are maintained as back up water sources.
