Community Events

We are the City of Good Neighbors and we want you to have a good time!  Our events bring us closer together and highlight our thriving community.  Whether it is a once-in-a-lifetime unique event, or a fun & relaxing summer block party, all of your application needs & requests should be met here.  If you need further assistance on a Community Events Form, please contact the Village Manager's Office at 847.368.5100 or email [email protected]. For questions pertaining to Block Parties, please contact Public Works at 847.368.5800.

Are you interested in hosting a Garage Sale? The Village does not require a permit. Our policy is that only 3 garage sales may be hosted on the same premise within a calendar year. Hours 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day and may not last more than 3 consecutive days.
